Materials saved from the landfill:
ceramic plates, scrap glass
cutting tile; mixing and casting concrete
Learn to use broken plates and forgotten tiles to create a beautiful DIY mosaic! Perennial staff will guide you through each step from cutting tile, mixing concrete, and designing your stone. You’ll discover which tools are best for cutting glass vs. tile, and how to recognize different materials. Each participant will create a unique stepping stone to take home to their outdoor spaces, and a baking pan mold to continue casting more stones at home!
Cancellation Policy: Perennial reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule classes to adjust for enrollment. If Perennial cancels a class, you may transfer to another class or receive a full refund.
Refund Policy: Notice of withdrawal from a workshop must be made at least 14 days prior to the start of the class. No refunds will be given for withdrawals made after that time. No refunds or credits will be given for classes missed due to illness, personal conflict, or other reasons. There are no exceptions to this policy. Please email email@example.com if you wish to withdraw from a workshop.
Child Participation Policy: Curious about your creative, resourceful kiddo participating in the Perennial mission through a class? Since our classes are geared towards adult beginners, we will assess child participation on a class by class basis. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 314-832-2288 before signing them up. Please note that we cannot accommodate children younger than 12 years old. For children under 16 years of age, both the child and their guardian will need to purchase a ticket and participate in the class together.
