Learn to make a cozy Belted Wrap Coat from a blanket and belt you might already have around the house. Students in this class will use the zig-zag feature of their sewing machines to finish fabric edges, and will learn a technique to make a cleanly finished button hole. Students should bring their own belt to class and may bring a wool or other tightly woven blanket if desired (Recommended size: 48″x 48″ or larger; stretchy knit blankets and fleece blankets are not recommended for this project). Basic machine sewing skills are recommended for this class.
