Materials saved from the landfill:
fabric yarn and embroidery floss scraps, buttons, misc items!
The scrappy DIY embroidery class you’ve been waiting for is here! Our instructor Kate is a whiz at incorporating unique materials into her textile designs, and in this class, she’ll show you how to accomplish just that using both traditional and experimental embroidery techniques. Whether you’re going for a design with pops of bright colors or one that is muted and textural, you’ll leave class with the beginnings of an embroidery creation you can hang on the wall, patch onto another item, or transform again into something new. No embroidery experience is needed to attend this class – just your creative brain!
