After earning her BFA in Art and Design at Alfred University, Katie (she/her) began exploring all types of media. Drawing, painting, and ceramics were just a few. Returning to St. Louis, she honed her design and teaching skills at Yucandu Art Studio. She taught people how to cut stained glass, create mosaics with repurposed china, and upcycle all kinds of found objects into mixed media collage.
In 2010, after receiving a vintage book from a friend, she began investigating new ways of binding books. Intrigued by nostalgia, she developed a way to preserve the hardback books and fill them with vibrant new stories, drawings, and prints.
At Perennial and beyond, she hopes to draw out joy and expression by giving new life to reinvented resources.

death, as a result of my participation in the Training, that are caused by the negligence, carelessness or
strict liability of any Released Party or otherwise.
3. I agree that if, despite the foregoing, I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim against any of the
Released Parties, I will indemnify, save, and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any loss,
liability, damage, or cost which any Released Party may incur as a result of such claim.

such rules and regulations.

broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the county in which the Training is conducted and the
