Skills you’ll learn:
overview of sewing machine parts and functions

Sewing machines can be a bit intimidating. Like any other tool, once you become familiar with its pieces and parts you will have more success (and fun!) using it to your advantage. In this introductory course, Perennial staff will cover the basic parts and functions of the sewing machine. This crash course will cover threading the machine, threading the bobbin, adjusting tension, adjusting the stitch width and length, and will introduce you to basic sewing language. This workshop is a prerequisite for other sewing classes at Perennial.
