SUMMARY:Community Clothing Swap
DESCRIPTION:Our next swap will take place on Saturday\, August 31st from 10am–12pm at the Quaker Meeting House at 1001 Park Avenue.\n \nHow exactly does it work?\nWe will be accepting clothing donations prior to the swap at the Meeting House (see dates and details below) so volunteers can pre-sort all items. No clothing donations will be accepted the day of the swap. You can donate clothes in good condition even if you are not planning to attend to ensure we have a wide selection. Volunteers will sort the clothes by item in advance and swappers will be able to browse and select clothes just like at a store. The great news is\, unlike a store\, you won’t pay by item for things you take home. Instead\, we will weigh your clothes to know how many pounds we are diverting from the landfill. \nWhat’s included in my ticket?\n\nClothes\, community\, coffee\, and cookies! \nWhen and where can I drop off clothes to donate to the swap?\nDonations can be dropped off at the Meeting House on the following dates and times: \n\nSaturday\, August 24 from 11am-4pm @ Perennial – This is the only Perennial drop-off time!\nWednesday + Thursday\, August 28 + 29 from 4-6:30pm @ the Meeting House\nFriday\, August 30 from 12-5:30pm @ the Meeting House\n\nYou do not need to purchase a ticket to donate clothing! \nIf this is your first time attending a swap or you want a refresher\, we encourage you to read all of the details and frequently asked questions here.\n

We will be serving lemonade and treats. DESCRIPTION:Join the creative folks at Perennial for our monthly crafting happy hour\, Craft Club! During the event\, you’ll craft along as Perennial staff shows you how to make DIY Dryer Balls and a Reusable Felt Duster. This month\, we’ll be crafting at the new and lovely Chimera Teas in Tower Grove East. Tea\, coffee\, and small plates will be available for purchase. \nTicket options: \n\nPerennial members that want to use their Craft Club pass should email classes@perennialstl.org to sign up (and bring their pass with them to the event).\nMembers attending without a pass can select the member priced ticket.\nEveryone else should choose the non-member ticket option.\n\nA reminder email with details about the venue and crafts will be sent in the days leading up to the event. \n
