No clothing donations will be accepted the day of the swap. You can donate clothes in good condition even if you are not planning to attend to ensure we have a wide selection. Volunteers will sort the clothes by item in advance and swappers will be able to browse and select clothes just like at a store. The great news is\, unlike a store\, you won’t pay by item for things you take home. Additional hardware may be required to connect to your downspout at home or to winterize your barrel\, but a basic setup will be provided. The setup and parts provided in class ONLY work with a rectangular downspout that is 2″ x 3″ or 3″ x 4″. Come to class with pictures of your home and downspout options\, and the instructor will give advice on the best place to connect your rain barrel and how to alter your barrel for its new home. \n

SUMMARY:Custom Wooden Picture Frame\, 5/30+6/6
DESCRIPTION:Custom framing can be pricey\, but this DIY framing process will give you contemporary frames for just a few bucks + your time! Participants will leave this workshop with a handmade 8″x10″ wood picture frame. In the first session\, we will learn to cut frame stock from reclaimed 2x4s\, and practice measuring\, cutting\, and clamping custom sized frames. In the second session we’ll use framing tools to secure our work\, learn to cut glass\, and apply finishing touches to our wood and frame assembly. \n  \nPlease note\, this two-day workshop takes place on Saturdays\, May 30 + June 6 from 10am – 12pm each day. \n
