If you’d answer these questions with a “yes\,” or even a “maybe\,” then this workshop is for you! Ro\, of Ro’s Wigglers will take you through a DIY Worm Bin build from start to finish using materials you’d find around your house. You’ll learn how to maintain and use your worm bin and its compost\, leaving with a finished bin that includes your new wiggly pets ready to get to work creating the BEST soil for your plants. \nAll materials for class will be provided\, but if you’ve got a plastic bin laying around that is not clear and is ideally wider than it is tall\, you can bring it with you to create your worm bin! \n

DESCRIPTION:This class is being offered again on March 16\, 2027 – tickets are available now! \nMaterials saved from the landfill:\nhardwood scraps \nSkills you’ll learn:\npattern-making\, laminating\, sawing\, planing\, sanding\, finishing \nPlease note\, this two-day workshop takes place on Saturdays\, October 17 + 24 from 10am – 1pm each day. \nCreate your own custom cutting board in this two-day workshop! The class will lead you through the process of making your own wood cutting board from a variety of hardwood remnants. In the first session\, participants will design their board pattern\, laminate\, and clamp their board together. The class will regroup for the second session to saw\, plane\, and shape their chopping board. Participants will learn the proper care of wood cutting boards and apply Perennial’s food safe and homemade wood wax to keep their boards in good condition. \n
