You’ll learn the soapmaking process step by step\, work with nourishing ingredients like coconut\, babassu\, olive\, and jojoba oils\, and customize your own dry shampoo using natural colorants and essential oils. We’ll also cover easy ways to reuse everyday containers for storage\, so you leave with practical skills\, a better understanding of what goes into your products\, and shampoo you’ll actually feel good about using. \n  \n

In this class\, students will learn how to repair holes in woven garments using traditional mending and darning techniques. Each student will be provided with as many hole-y sample swatches as they need to practice on and are encouraged to used these skills on pieces of their own that need mending! Participants will create several visible mending samplers and discuss how to use the skills to mend clothing invisibly. \n
