This class uses plans that are approved by the Missouri Department of Conservation for small birds such as wrens that need shelter from larger birds. In addition to saving wood from the landfill you will learn how to follow woodworking plans and how to safely use the drill press\, miter saw\, and air nailer. Make a safe haven for local birds and leave with it at the end of class! \n

In this workshop\, participants will learn to construct a holiday stocking from reclaimed fabrics. You’ll learn to work from a pattern\, practice sewing curved lines\, and add a lining to your stocking. Bring your own fabrics\, or plan to work from a selection of reclaimed fabrics at Perennial. \nPlease note: participants should have prior experience with threading a sewing machine and sewing a straight stitch or have taken Perennial’s Sewing Machine Basics class. \n
