Learn the basics of carving and whittling in this hands-on class. Carve along with Grace as they teach you to use a carving knife to create a cute little piggy from scrap wood. Use the techniques from this class to turn scraps into treasured works of art and to bring yourself endless hours of fun!

This is a virtual class that will be conducted via Zoom. Participant will be emailed information on how to participate prior to the class. You may pickup a kit of materials on Thursday, December 2nd 11:00am to 5:00pm, including a pre-shaped block of hardwood, a square block of hardwood, and sandpaper. If you do not have carving tools, you will need to add on the refundable Tool Deposit to rent a carving knife, gouge, and clamp.

 

Class Policy

Cancellation Policy: Perennial reserves the right to cancel, combine or reschedule classes to adjust for enrollment. If Perennial cancels a class, you may transfer to another class or receive a full refund.

Refund Policy: Notice of withdrawal from a workshop must be made at least 14 days prior to the start of the class. No refunds will be given for withdrawals made after that time. No refunds or credits will be given for classes missed due to illness, personal conflict or other reasons. There are no exceptions to this policy. Please e-mail classes@perennialstl.org if you wish to withdraw from a workshop.
