Design and create your own leather envelope wristlet while learning basic leather fastening techniques! This class is perfect for someone with no prior leather or sewing experience. Participants will walk away with a one-of-a-kind wristlet, a pattern, and skills they can apply to many other DIY leather projects. We will also introduce leather vocabulary, tools, and strategies for finding upcycled leather.
This is a virtual class that will be conducted via Zoom. Participants will be emailed a link to participate prior to class. You will be able to pickup a kit of materials containing leather, rivets, eyelets, glue, templates, and key ring on Thursday or Friday, April 8 or 9, 11am to 5pm, or you can email email@example.com to arrange another time. If needed, you may also rent leatherworking tools, including a leather punch, eyelet setter, rivet setter, hammer and granite slab, but you must add the refundable tool deposit to your cart to rent these tools.
