You don’t need to go out and buy new products to reduce waste at home — you can make them yourself from reclaimed + natural materials! In this workshop, we’ll go over best practices to reduce the amount of waste in your toiletries and cosmetics, and you’ll learn how to make a facial toner + moisturizing serum using eco-friendly natural products. Your kits will include samples of both of these products! Then, we’ll make a set of reusable cotton rounds to replace disposable facial scrubs/makeup removers.

This is a live virtual class that will be conducted via Zoom. Participants will be sent info on how to participate prior to the class. You may pick up a kit of materials on Thursday-Friday, February 25-26 from 11a-5pm, or email us at classes@perennialstl.org if you need to pick up outside of this time range. A sewing machine will make cotton rounds go faster, but instructor will show you how to hand sew them as well if you do not have a machine.
