Drop-in for some community crafting and knowledge sharing with Perennial!
These days folks are working on lots of creative reuse projects at home; mending clothes, building in their gardens and patios, sprucing up alley finds, making masks, and taking up new crafting hobbies. Whether you’re stuck, looking for inspiration, or just tired of crafting alone, we want to hear from you! Tune in between 1 and 3 to ask a question or stay the whole time to craft in good company and be inspired by what other folks are making. We might throw in a tutorial or two depending on time.
We’ll have two teaching artists who will host the session online, Theresa and Jenny. Their experience/strengths include:
This session is free for all Perennial members (you can sign up for a Perennial membership here) and $5 for non-members to participate. Registration is required so we can share live event links, we are still confirming platform details.
Normally, Community Workshop is a program that happens at Perennial twice a month where folks can come together to craft and ask questions of our staff, teaching artists, and each other. We may not be able to share our tools right now but Perennial is more than a workshop. It’s the creative community made up of members like you that makes us who we are. We miss seeing you in person crafting together virtually may be the next best thing. Can’t wait to see what you’re working on.
