Upcycled Garden Art

Tuesday, April 30 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Class is Full!

Instructor: Tara Morton

$32 – $40

Event Navigation

Materials saved from the landfill:
metal pans, colanders, appliance parts, salvaged house paint, wood

Skills you’ll learn:
Drilling, sawing, construction, riveting

Turn those unwanted kitchen utensils + more into colorful art for the garden! In this class, participants will learn how to identify materials that are great for outdoor garden art. Students will design their pieces from reclaimed materials such as tin baking pans, lamp parts, saw blades and more, and will discover ways to connect metal components (without welding them!), which may involve the addition of wood. With salvaged house paint, we’ll add pops of color to our pieces to create sweet sculptural creations to take home for your yard.
