Materials saved from the landfill:
broken jewelry, pennies, wire
Skills you’ll learn:
metal stamping, jewelry-making
Create a one of a kind pendant by re-imagining old jewelry into something new and unique. We will deconstruct existing jewelry, and use the skill of metal stamping to create a fresh and new personalized necklace. Metal stamping is an excellent way to immediately personalize a piece of metal; we will use pennies as our canvas to add initials or short words to complete our pendants. Leave with the confidence to look at your broken jewelry with fresh eyes, and the confidence to make simple repairs to items you may have otherwise tossed aside.
