Skills you’ll learn:
longstitch bookbinding, awl
An older, German bookbinding technique, the Longstitch, uses a single thread to sew multiple sections into a leather cover. Traditional tools such as a bonefolder and a bookbinder’s awl will be used to prepare the upcycled materials. Each participant will create a small, unique and functional book whose pages open completely, perfect for sketching, note-taking, or other record-keeping.
Last day to register: Thursday, March 16
