Skills you’ll learn:
Join Kristen Gula of Gulush Threads for this new embroidery workshop at Perennial! In this class, participants will use reclaimed fabric and thread to create a modern floral hand embroidery, using just two stitches: the satin stitch and stem stitch. Kristen will also cover pattern transfer, so you can leave with a finished project and the skills to make your own embroidered floral creations, all on your own! All skill levels and experience are welcome!
This is a live virtual class that will be conducted via Zoom, and you will receive information about how to participate by email prior to the class. Participants will be able to pickup kits of materials, including a hoop, needle, floss, fabric, and printed pattern on Friday, May 22 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm, or they can email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a pickup time outside of that range. You must provide your own scissors.
