Skills you’ll learn:
using a pattern, cutting fabric, sewing

Take your sewing skills to the next level while making a stylish + functional oven mitt! In this class, participants will use reclaimed fabrics and a few basic stitches on the machine to create a custom lined oven mitt. This class will cover some simple machine quilting options you can use to add polish to your mitt. Choose from a variety of fabric here at Perennial, or bring in your own (1 yards, 2 fabrics) to work with. Old bed sheets and scrap remnants work great for this project!

Participants should have basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine or have taken Perennial’s Sewing Machine Basics workshop.
