Teaching Artists: Grace Burghoff and Allison Sissom
Come down to Perennial’s shop to work on your next reuse project. During Community Workshop, you’ll have access to our space, tools, and creative reuse pros. Perennial staff will be on-hand to offer design and build advice in both our Reuse Studio and Woodshop. Pay-by-pound for salvaged project materials, including wood, fabrics, glass, ceramics, paper products and more! Purchase eco-friendly milk paint, soy gel, and waxes in bulk.
Reuse Studio Amenities – $10/ workshop
sewing machines and sewing/quilting tools, soldering irons, upholstery tools, leather working tools, mosaic supplies, blenders, dye pots, pans and bowls, hot plates, measuring spoons, cutting mats, tapestry looms, papermaking supplies, wine bottle cutters, mark-making tools and more! For more challenging tools + processes (ie: soldering, upholstery, wine bottle cutting), we recommend that you take a Perennial class in advance of attending Community Workshop, or have some experience in being a self-starter maker.
On December 9, teaching artist Allison Sissom will show you how to make reclaimed paper ornaments, perfect for your holiday decorating. Learn more here.
Woodshop Amenities – $20/ workshop
